KCR to send Kavitha to Rajya Sabha?:- There are lot of speculations about the MLC candidates of Telangana for the ruling party TRS. Keeping an end to all the speculations, Telangana Chief Minister KCR named his daughter K Kavitha, the sitting MLC candidate to Rajya Sabha. The list of six TRS candidates for the Legislative Council under the local bodies category are announced by KCR. 11 other candidates have been finalized under the category of the local authorities for the MLP posts. Two TRS MPs: KR Suresh Reddy and BB Patil said that Kavitha has been nominated for her excellent work and her commitment towards politics.

Yadava Reddy, Tata Madhu, Patnam Mahender Reddy, Pochampally Srinivas Reddy, Shambipur Raju, L Ramana, Dande Vittal, Bhanuprasad Rao, MC Koti Reddy, Kuchumalla Damodar Reddy and Kasireddy Narayana Reddy. All the leaders filed the papers for the MLC Election and the last day of filing the nominations is today. Singer Sai Chand was expected to get placed in the list along with Akula Lalitha, but the party picked up the above list of leaders. There are last minute changes done to the list told a source close to TRS. All the six TRS candidates who filed the nominations for Telangana MLC polls under MLA quota are unanimously elected on Monday.
