AP Government Officials Warn Of Agitation:- Andhra Pradesh state is left in huge financial crisis and the salaries, pensions for the government employees are not paid on time. The state government employees warned of implementing an agitation in the phased manner if the salaries and pensions are not paid on time. There are several other issues related to the Dearness Allowance arrears and Pay Revision Commission (PRC) recommendations. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the advisor of the AP government announced that the PRC issues will be resolved at any cost before the end of this month. A delegation of AP JAC and AP JAC Amaravati met Advisor to Government (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
They submitted a representation about the issues and they raised the grievances. The leaders pointed the government for not paying the salaries on time and the pensions are delayed promptly. The officials told that the retired employees have not received their pensions even on 12th of this month. The benefits like Gratuity, GPF and leave encashment are not paid. All the regular, contract and outsourcing employees should receive their salaries on time on the first day of the month demanded the JAC leaders. They hinted of agitation if the issue is not resolved. They urged Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy to discuss it with Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. They also reminded about the pay revision. Sajjala promised to make a favorable announcement in the next couple of days.
