Telangana To Operate 4000 Special Buses During Dasara Season:- Dasara happens to be one of the biggest festive seasons for Telangana and the schools, colleges are declared holidays from today. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will operate 4000 special services in the state during the holiday season. To clear the rush during the Dasara season, special services are planned to the neighboring states Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. A total number of 4035 buses will be operated b between October 8th and 15th. 3084 buses will be operated from Hyderabad to the Telangana districts, 951 buses will be operating from Telangana to various districts of Andhra Pradesh. The Dasara celebrations are restricted in the state last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year, the government of Telangana imposed no restrictions during the holiday season. Lakhs of people return back to their homes from Hyderabad to celebrate Dasara in their home towns. The railway tickets for the entire season are sold out recently and the TSRTC is now in plans to start special services during the season. TSRTC was left in huge losses due to the pandemic and it is getting back to track after the state got reopened. Special communication cells are arranged to provide information for the passengers who wish to travel through TSRTC services. All the helplines will be working round the clock from October 7th to 14th in the state. TSRTC also announced special packages for people more than 30 who wish to travel in groups.
