KCR Plans To Bail Out Hyderabad Metro:- Hyderabad Metro which is the largest metro of the country is staring at huge losses ever since the coronavirus pandemic attacked. Hyderabad Metro was shut for months and it was not preferred as the spread of coronavirus is all over. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) said that the government will explore all the possibilities to bail out and support Hyderabad Metro which is left in huge losses because of the pandemic. The Chief Minister's Office issued a statement that the Chief Minister assured the top brass of L&T. The government will support the project and it will help the Hyderabad Metro to get back to the track.

A high level committee will be formed which will have ministers KTR, Vemula Prashanth along with the other senior officials. The committee will submit a detailed report after which the call would be taken by the government of Telangana in the presence of KCR. L&T officials have been requesting the government to support the project and they made several requests for the same. Though the situations are normal in Telangana, Hyderabad Metro is yet to return back to the track because of the fear of coronavirus. The officials of L&T met KCR in Pragathi Bhavan and discussed about the financial losses and the repayments to the banks. They also informed about the mounting interests.

KCR said that the government will take the decision and will stand as a support for L&T along with the Hyderabad Metro during this difficult times.
