Rs 1000 Cr Loss In Telangana Due To Rains:- Telangana state witnessed a huge downpour in the recent weeks which led to a loss of Rs 1000 crores as per the preliminary estimates in the state. The overall loss will increase after the final reports will be obtained in the coming weeks. The government of Telangana will request the Centre for assistance under the natural calamity fund. The field of agriculture is the most impacted because of the recent rains that lashed the state for eight complete days. The roads and the infrastructure are badly damaged in various districts of Telangana. The officials of Telangana started enumeration to calculate the losses due to the rains. The government needs huge funds to restore the roads, water supply and drainage system across the state.

KT Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister along with the ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Vemula Prashanth Reddy reviewed the situation along with the officials in all the districts of Telangana. The reports about the crop loss, loss due to roads and highways and others are collected. KTR visited the town of Siricilla which was completely drowned because of the recent rains. The town is flooded completely and the rescue operations are on. All the government offices are left with floods and the rescue operations are going on. Huge losses are reported in the districts of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Khammam districts.
