Indian coronavirus daily tally rock steady:- After reaching the peaks in May, the coronavirus wave of cases is coming down slowly. A total number of 60,753 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours taking the total tally of cases to 2,98,23,546. With 97,743 new discharges in the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries climbed to 2,86,78,390. 1647 people passed away in the country in total yesterday and the total number of deaths in the country stands at 3,85,137. There are 7,60,019 active cases of coronavirus in the country and the total number of people who took the vaccination for coronavirus reached 27,23,88,783.

The number of active cases are the lowest in the country after 74 days. The Health experts warned about the third wave of coronavirus and it is expected to hit the country in October this year. A study said that the risk of getting hospitalized got reduced in the recent weeks and the requirement of oxygen therapy too got reduced. The World Health Organization (WHO) said that the Delta variant of coronavirus which was first traced in India is on its way to become a dominant one globally as it is highly transmissible. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested for Covid-19 till date in India are said to be 38,92,07,637 and the samples tested on June 18th are said to be 19,02,009.
