TDP Chief Ramana offered MLC post in TRS:- Telugu Desam Party (TDP) lost its charisma in the Telugu states. In Telangana, the situation is worse and there are no prominent leaders left in the party. TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu too shifted his base to Andhra Pradesh and is not much bothered about Telangana politics. Telangana TDP President L Ramana has been idle in the state and he has been working with the party shot fame. There are rumors that L Ramana is all set to quit TDP and he will soon join TRS. He has been holding meetings with the leaders of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) from the past one week. Ramana during his recent media interaction clarified that he has not taken any decision for now.

But the sources from TRS confirmed that Ramana will join TRS soon had he will be offered an MLC seat from the leading party. TRS leaders Dayakar Rao along with M Sanjay Kumar are negotiating with L Ramana for now. He happens to be a powerful BC leader and TRS is keen to join him in the party after the exit of Etela Rajender. The elections for the six seats of the Legislative Council will take place soon in Telangana and the government will have a nominated member. Ramana is expected to get the position. Ramana who has been a loyalist to TDP happened to be the last hope of the party and he is all set to bid goodbye for the party.
