112 coronavirus cases reported in Hyderabad's gated community:- The gated communities in the cities are turning out to be the new hubs for the spread of the coronavirus. The second wave of the deadly virus is all over the country and the situations are alarming in most of the states. 112 new cases of coronavirus are reported in a gated community in Hyderabad. The gated community is identified as My Home Jewel in Madinaguda, Hyderabad. The daily tally of coronavirus cases in Telangana crossed the 3000 mark today. The residents of the gated community alleged that they did not receive much support from the officials of the GHMC. The residents of My Home Jewel themselves arranged the quarantine facilities and hospital visits. The gated community is said to have 8000 residents in total.
A help desk is set up by the association itself and an ambulance is kept on standby. The association is supplying the basic facilities of food and medicines for the families who are in home quarantine. The GHMC officials reached the gated community and they are sanitizing the complex completely. The number of active cases in Telangana now reached 24,131 and 16,118 people are in home and institutional quarantine. The recovery rate in Telangana is said to be 92.21 percent and the national average is posted as 89.5 percent by the Union Health Ministry. Hyderabad turned out to be the new spot of coronavirus hub and the city received 406 new cases yesterday. A total number of 1,84,372 new cases for coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases reached 1,38,73,825. 82,339 people got discharged in the country in the last 24 hours and 1027 people died in total as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry.
