Coronavirus daily tally crosses 1 lakh mark:- India is on high alert after the second wave of coronavirus is in the country. A total number of 1,03,558 new cases are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and 52,847 got discharged in the last one day. 478 new deaths are reported in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of Indian cases for coronavirus reached 1,25,89,067 and the total number of recoveries are at 1,16,82,136. The total number of active cases for coronavirus now reached 7,41,830 and the death toll reached 1,65,101. Experts warn that the new daily tally of cases will reach 2 lakhs in the country by the mid of this month. Several high-profile meetings are held yesterday in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss about the calls to be taken.

Maharashtra will head for night curfew over the weekdays and complete lockdown during the weekends. Maharashtra reported more than 57,000 new cases of coronavirus in a day along with 222 deaths. The total number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra crossed 30 lakh mark. 65 students from IIT Jodhpur in Rajasthan are tested positive for coronavirus. Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar are tested positive for coronavirus. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is admitted in a private hospital in Mumbai today as per the advice of the doctors.

86 people from a wedding in Nizamabad, Telangana are tested positive for coronavirus. All these people attended a wedding two weeks ago out of the 400 people. The officials are tracing the other people who attended the wedding.  Maharashtra civic polls are postponed for three months as per the update from the officials. India's new daily case tally is the highest in the world and is followed by France and Turkey. A total number of 7,91,05,163 people took up coronavirus vaccination in India till date.
