12,286 New Cases of Coronavirus reported in India:- As per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry, a total number of 12,286 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours. The tally of cases climbed to 1,11,24,527 and the total number of recoveries in the country reached 1,07,98,921. 91 new deaths are reported in the country and the total death tally reached 1,57,248. The second phase of coronavirus vaccination started from yesterday and is happening in government and private hospitals. Around 4.27 lakh people took the coronavirus vaccine yesterday.

Around 29 lakh people have registered for coronavirus vaccine through online or Aarogya Setu app as per the reports from last night. As per the reports coming from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested in the country till date are said to be 21,76,18,057 and the samples tested yesterday are 7,59,283. BJP Lok Sabha MP from Khandwa, Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan passed away today due to coronavirus. He is getting treated in Medanta Hospitals, New Delhi from the past few days. Out of the 12,286 new cases, 6397 cases are reported in Maharashtra alone. India donated coronavirus vaccines to two Caribbean countries Saint Lucia and St Kitts and Nevis.
