Fire Breaks Out on the Sets of Prabhas' Adipurush:- Young Rebelstar Prabhas' upcoming movie Adipurush commenced shoot on a grand note yesterday. The film is said to be the adaptation of Ramayana and Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama in this mythological drama. Om Raut is the director and the portions that do not feature Prabhas are shot currently. A massive set is erected in the outskirts of Mumbai in a private studio to shoot the major portions of Adipurush. Right after the completion of the first day of the shoot, fire broke out on the sets.

The accident took place due to a short circuit and a part of the set was destroyed. The fire tenders are brought in to control the fire and the situation came to a control in an hour. No lead actors or technicians were present on the set when the incident took place and there were no casualties reported. Kriti Sanon is rumored to play Sita in Adipurush and the film has Saif Ali Khan essaying the role of the lead antagonist. T Series and Retrophiles are the producers of Adipurush and the film is made on a budget of Rs 450 crores and will release in 3D in August 2022 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
