Bhuma Akhila Priya Arrested in a Kidnap Case:- Former Andhra Pradesh Minister and TDP leader Bhuma Akhila Priya is taken into custody in a kidnap case in Hyderabad. She is facing allegations of kidnapping a former hockey player and his relatives last night. Praveen Rao, Sunil Rao and Naveen Rao have been kidnapped and they are said to be the close relatives of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Bhuma Akhila Priya and her husband Bhargav Ram are facing allegations in the case. Bhuma Akhila Priya was arrested and Bhargav Ram is currently absconding. Bhuma Akhila Priya was taken into custody from her Kukatpally residence this morning and is taken to Bowenpally women police station.

As per the update, Praveen Rao and his family members were kidnapped by a bunch of goons last night from their residence. They are left free at 3 AM in Kokapet, near to the Outer Ring Road. Mahabubabad MP Kavitha along with Telangana Minister Srinivas Goud visited the family members of the victims. There is said to be a land dispute between the families from some time as per the primary investigation. The cops said that 15 people barged into the residence of Praveen Rao citing themselves as the officials of Income Tax. The Bowenpally cops registered a case under Indian Penal Code Sections 448 (Punishment for house-trespass), 419 (Punishment for cheating by personation), 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation), 366 (Kidnapping, abducting) read with Section 149 (Every member of unlawful assembly guilty of an offense committed in prosecution of common object).

The search for Bhargav Ram is currently on and the culprits who participated in the kidnap are taken into the custody.
