High Tension in Ramatheertham after Chandra Babu's Visit:- The attacks on Hindu temples continued in Andhra Pradesh. A 400-year-old Lord Rama idol was vandalized in Ramatheertham temple in Andhra Pradesh and this incident created a sensation. The opposition parties slammed the leading YSRCP for the incident and massive protests erupted in Vizianagaram district. TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu made some serious statements against YS Jaganmohan Reddy calling that the temple idols too are suffering under YS Jagan's rule. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan compared Andhra Pradesh with Pakistan and he demanded a CBI inquiry in the incident.

Ahead of the TDP visit, the cops imposed several restrictions and Chandra Babu Naidu's convoy was stopped several times in various locations. YSRCP MP Vijaysai Reddy visited the temple and inquired about the incident. The convoy of Chandra Babu was stopped and Chandra Babu Naidu staged a protest on the road. The situations turned tense and the TDP leaders are restricted from entering the premises of Ramatheertham temple. After a series of unusual incidents, Chandra Babu was allowed to reach Ramatheertham. YSRCP leaders blamed Chandra Babu Naidu responsible for the incident while the TDP leaders took a dig against the AP government.
