Coronavirus Indian Daily Tally Falls Below 20,000 Mark:- For the first time in the recent times, the daily tally of coronavirus cases in the country fell below 20,000 mark. A total number of 19,556 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total tally of coronavirus cases in the country now stands at 1,00,75,116. Around 96.35 lakh people recovered completely from coronavirus in the country and 301 people died in the last 24 hours in the country. The total death tally stands at 1,46,111. Only six states reported more than 1000 cases per day in the country in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra government declared night curfews across the state till January 5th. Several states also banned New Yeah celebrations and imposed 144 section on December 31st night. The Indian government also banned flights from the United Kingdom till the end of this month after a new strain of coronavirus is being detected in the United Kingdom. Kerala government after months allowed the opening of liquor shops in the state. Andhra Pradesh reported 214 new cases in the state as per the report from the Health Department that is released yesterday.

Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala continued to be the worst-hit states of the country due to coronavirus pandemic. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested in the country till date are said to be 16,31,70,557 and the samples tested yesterday are said to be 10,72,228. USA is the worst-hit country of the world because of the coronavirus. The total tally off cases reached 18 million with 3.19 lakh deaths which is the highest in the world.
