GHMC Exit Polls: TRS on the edge of the seat:- The GHMC polls created a sensation across the Telugu states and gained nationwide focus. After registering a victory in the recent Dubbaka polls, BJP wanted to show clear dominance in the GHMC polls. TRS and BJP headed for a tough fight in the polls that are conducted across 150 divisions of GHMC on December 1st. The re-polling took place in Old Malakpet after which the exit polls are released. Most of the exit polls predicted a victory for TRS but they are on the edge of the seat. BJP clearly gained strength in Telangana in the recent times.
TRS is likely to get 68-78 seats out of the 150 divisions. The leading party won 99 seats in the last polls. BJP will get 25-35 seats. AIMIM is expected to get 38-42 seats and the party got 44 in the previous polls that are held in 2016. The Congress will end up with five seats. TRS is getting 38 percent of the votes and BJP stands second with 32 percent. AIMIM will have 13 percent and Congress would get 12 percent of the votes. Most of the exit polls released predict that there would be a tough fight between TRS and BJP in most of the constituencies.
Pulse Today predicts 86-90 seats for TRS and 18-20 seats for BJP. AIMIM may get 34-38 seats and Congress will be restricted to 1-2 seats. The counting of the GHMC polls will start tomorrow morning and the final results would be out by the afternoon.
