38,617 New Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In India:- India detected 38,617 new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours and 474 people passed away in the country because of coronavirus yesterday. The total number of cases in the country are now at 89,12,908. The number of active cases in India are said to be 4,46,805 and the number of recovered people in the country are now at 83,35,110. The death toll in India stands at 1,30,993. Delhi reported 6396 new cases and 99 deaths which hints of the second wave in the national capital. After the cases reached an all-time low, the recent numbers are alarming. The Delhi government is now cautious and is taking all the measures to curb the wave of cases.

Maharashtra reported 2840 cases and the wave seems to be coming down in the country's most impacted state. After eleven consecutive days, the country reported less than 50,000 cases in a single day. Maharashtra has the highest number of active cases in the country which are said to be 82,904. The total samples tested in the country yesterday are said to be 9,37,279 and a total number of 12,74,80,186 samples are tested till date. Maharashtra, Kerala, New Delhi, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan states contribute 76.7 percent of the total active coronavirus cases in the country.
