Kapil Dev Undergoes Angioplasty after he Suffers a Heart Attack:- Indian legendary cricketer Kapil Dev suffered a massive heart attack and he underwent angioplasty in a private hospital in New Delhi. Kapil Dev was the captain of the Indian team in 1983 when Indian won the first Cricket World Cup for the country. After the news surfaced, several cricketers, colleagues and celebrities wished him a speedy recovery. The 61-year-old all rounder and he scored 5248 runs in his international test career. Kapil Dev scored 3783 runs in one-days and he had 9000 runs in total and he played 131 tests, 225 one-days.

Kapil Dev picked up 434 test wickets and 253 wickets in one-days in his career. Kapil Dev was the first Indian to get over 400 wickets in test cricket. He has several records on his name. Kapil Dev has the fastest test half-century by any Indian and he made it in 33 balls against Pakistan. 1983 World Cup performance by Kapil Dev will be remembered by every Indian for his outstanding 175 not out from 138 balls against Zimbabwe. India was 17/5 at one stage after which Kapil Dev took the Indian team to victory. Kapil Dev worked as an Indian coach after his retirement. He was named as the Wisden Indian Cricketer of the Century. He worked as a commentator and is into several social activities. Wishing Kapil Dev a speedy recovery.
