Oxford Coronavirus Vaccine Volunteer Dies In Brazil:- The novel coronavirus shattered the globe financially and economically. The global tally crossed the 4 crore mark and over 11 lakh people passed away due to the deadly virus. Several scientists in association with top pharmaceutical firms are working on developing a vaccine for coronavirus for some time. Some of the trials are in initial stages while some of them are in the stage of advanced human trials. Anvisa, the Brazilian Health Authority confirmed that a volunteer died in the clinical trials of AstraZeneca and Oxford University's vaccine. The trial is bound to continue after the incident. The Federal University of Sao Paulo clarified that the dead volunteer is from Brazil but the further details about his death and identity are not disclosed.

The Federal University of Sao Paulo said that it is their responsibility to protect the confidentiality of the trial and the identity of the volunteer. The volunteer is said to be 28 years old who lived in Rio de Janerio and he died of complications from coronavirus. The trial would have been suspended if the volunteer received the coronavirus vaccine. There are talks that the person who died was a part of the control group. There was a huge negative wave after the news came out and the shares of AstraZeneca fell down by 1.7 percent.
