Hyderabad Rains: City Gets Orange Alert Ahead Of Rain Prediction:- Hyderabad city witnessed a huge downpour like never before and the low-lying regions are badly submerged. The day to day life came to a standstill and some of the regions are yet to recover completely before which Hyderabad is issued an orange alert ahead of the rains in this week. Heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in Telangana along with the coastal line of Andhra Pradesh. With the heavy downpour, the low-lying regions are alerted. A yellow alert is issued for the isolated regions of Telangana districts. Hyderabad city received an orange alert. People are advised to stay indoors ahead of the heavy rain prediction.
As per the update, 50 people lost their lives in various incidents due to rains in Hyderabad. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao instructed the officials to evacuate all the people living in low-lying regions. Several properties, roads and bridges are badly damaged because of the water flow. Telangana Chief Minister KCR wanted the officials to come up with a plan about making changes to the drainage system. Thousands of vehicles, bikes and cars are badly damaged after they submerged in the floods. The traffic is closed on the Puranapool bridge after the bridge received cracks on the pillars because of the heavy floods in the Musi river.
