KTR Inaugurates Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge:- The government of Telangana granted ample budget for the renovation of the roads and the construction of new bridges and paths to make the journey more comfortable. The Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge construction completed some time ago and is waiting to be inaugurated. Telangana IT Minister KTR inaugurated the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge this evening. It is said to be the World's Longest Span Concrete Deck Extradosed Cable Stayed Bridge. Honorable Minister for Home Affairs, Kishan Reddy too was present for the event. The four-lane bridge connects the elevated corridor from Road no 45 to Durgam Cheruvu.

The design along with the lighting has been impressing the Hyderabadis from some time and the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge has been in news from the past few months. A laser show along with the fireworks are displayed during the inauguration today. The Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge will be open for commuters from tomorrow.
