Medak Additional Collector Caught Taking a Bribe of Rs 1.12 Cr:- The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials arrested the Medak Additional Collector Nagesh when he was taking a bribe of Rs 1.12 crores in a land scam case. In this process, Nagesh wanted to get a land registered for Rs 72 lakhs and he inked a deal. He even wrote agreements for the same for the remaining amount to be paid. He was taking Rs 40 lakhs payment from the victims during which the ACB officials conducted raids and arrested Nagesh in this case. All the pieces of evidence are taped and several audio recordings are produced by the victims before the ACB officials.

The ACB officials conducted raids on Nagesh's residence in Machavaram along with 12 other places today. Surya Narayana, DSP of ACB is taking the lead in this raids. It is heard that Nagesh owns several properties in Hyderabad and the ACB officials are keeping a track of the details. Nagesh demanded Rs 1 lakh per acre for 112 acres of farmland in Narasapur's Tippalturthi. Nagesh promised to grant NOC for the land if he is paid Rs 1.12 crores. The ACB officials are investigating about the involvement of the revenue officials in this case. The land is owned by Murthy who resides in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

The ACB officials are also conducting raids and are investigating the Naraspur Tahasildar and the VRO of Tippalturthi.
