75,809 New Cases and 1133 Deaths in the Country:- India is now the second most affected country due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tally of cases reported in the country in the past 24 hours is at 75,809 and 1133 people passed away in the last 24 hours in India. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, the total tally of cases till date stands at 42,80,442. India reported over 90,000 new cases from the past two days and it saw a decline today. There re 8.83 lakh active cases of coronavirus in the country and the recovery rate in the country stand at 77.6 percent. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are the most impacted states in the country and they account for 62% of the total cases.

The Union Health Ministry said that 77 lakh people recovered from the coronavirus completely. Maharashtra reported 16,429 new cases and 423 deaths in the last 24 hours. The total cases of coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh crossed 5 lakh mark by yesterday. The metro rail services across the country resumed yesterday and all the government issued guidelines are implemented.  2,72,56,723 people have been infected with the virus in the world and 8,91,308 have lost their lives. Uttarakhand Cabinet minister Madan Kaushik is tested positive for coronavirus yesterday.
