Coronavirus Spreads to 20 People via Lift Button in Khammam:- The spread of coronavirus is unstoppable in the country. As many as 20 people are tested positive for coronavirus in Khammam andd this happened within a span of two weeks. The shocking fact is that all of them got infected to coronavirus through a lift. A resident of five-floor apartment that is located near the bypass road of Khammam was tested positive with coronavirus. He used the apartment life which infected 20 of the residents from the community. The officials found that people residing in the apartment using the lift are tested positive. The ground floor residents have never used the lift and they are not infected with coronavirus.

All the infected people said that they never contacted any of the neighbors except using the lift. The officials found that it was through lift the coronavirus was spread and they sanitized, disinfected the lift in the apartment. The infected people have been asked to stay in home isolation for the next two weeks. The watchman along with his family vacated the premises after he was feared of infection. Khammam reported 152 new cases of coronavirus yesterday out of the 2795 registered cases in Telangana state. Khammam district registered 806 new cases of coronavirus. The number of new cases in Telangana are steadily increasing.
