Seven People Die After Consuming Sanitizer In Prakasam District:- Sanitizer is the need of the hour after the arrival of coronavirus pandemic. Seven people who consumed sanitized passed away in Prakasam district's Kurichedu. Two people who reside near the temple in the region consumed sanitizer after they got addicted to alcohol. One of them passed away last night and the other was rushed to Darsi government hospital. He passed away last night in the hospital. Kadiyam Ramanayya, a 28-year-old youngster was warned by the villagers after he was spotted mixing cheap liquor and sanitizer. He was left unconscious after consuming the liquor and he was rushed to the hospital. He passed away when he was on his way to the hospital.
Anugonda Srinu (25 years), Boghem Tirupathaiah (37), Guntaka Ramireddy (60), Ramanaiah (65), Rajareddy (65) are the others who died after consuming sanitizer. Due to the lockdown, the wine marts across the region are closed from the past 11 days. With liquor unavailable, several people are consuming sanitizers and seven people passed away in Prakasam district alone. The Health officials warned the people not to consume sanitizers which are quite dangerous. On the other side, the cases of coronavirus are increasing at a rapid pace in Andhra Pradesh. Over 10,000 new cases are registered on a regular basis in the state.
