Ayodhya's Ram Mandir Will Be 161-Foot Tall:- The Ram mandir that would be constructed in Ayodhya would be 161-foot tall said the temple architect. The original design was prepared in 1988 and its height was mentioned to be 141 feet. A grand ground-breaking ceremony is planned and it would take place on August 5th. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host the event and several prominent personalities will grace the occasion. The footfall was likely increased as the old design was prepared 30 years ago. Nikhil Sompura, an architect and son of C Sompura, chief architect of the temple told that the people are quite eager to visit the temple soon.
They said that they felt that the size should be increased. Nikhil Sompura said that the height was revised and increased. Two mandaps are added and all the pillars, stones that are carved as per the earlier design will be used. The architects said that the construction of the temple will take three and a half years to complete. The construction would start soon after the bhoomi puja. Vedic rituals are planned and they would be held for three days. 50 VIPs are finalized and Narendra Modi is personally inviting them for the groundbreaking ceremony.
