Massive Fire Breaks Out In Vizag's Pharma City:- Before the people of Vizag could forget about the tragic incident of LG Polymers' gas leak that killed over 15 people, one more incident shattered the city. A massive fire broke out in Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City located in Parwada in the outskirts of Vizag. The incident took place during the late hours of Monday night. Loud explosion and fire left the locals sleepless. One of the workers sustained minor injuries and he is rushed to a local hospital and is recovering well. As the explosions were massive and they continued because of which the fire tenders could not reach close to the spot. The officials along with District Collector Vinay Chand rushed to the spot and they overlooked the rescue operations.

Huge flames coming from the Pharma City are spotted from a distance. Nine fire tenders worked and brought the fire under control. Some of the residents residing near to the Pharma City rushed to safe places. The explosion took place in Visakha Solvents located in the Pharma City. Among the four, three escaped without any injuries and one of them had burns. The fire from the reactor started and it was spread to the other parts of the plant. The spread of smoke was huge that it was visible even from a distance of 10 kms. There are around 85 pharma companies in the pharma city.
