80 TTD Officials Tested Positive With Coronavirus:- The coronavirus is fast spreading across the country after the relaxations are imposed. The Centre slowly announced relaxations for all the fields. After being closed for over two months, the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala was open for the public from last month. Special restrictions are imposed and all the social distancing guidelines are issued for the visitors. The TTD also allowed limited visitors to the temple and most of the tickets are sold online. Special thermal screenings along with coronavirus tests are conducted for all the visitors at Alipiri before entering into the premises of Tirumala.
80 officials from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) are infected with coronavirus till date as per the update. Chittor Collector N Bharat Gupta informed the news to the media. He said that they have been conducting coronavirus tests for 200 employees of TTD and till date 80 TTD officials are tested positive with the deadly virus. There is no trace that it is infected to the visitors from the TTD officials. Bharat Gupta also said that almost 800 devotees who visited the temple are tested and all the reports are negative.
A total number of 1765 cases of coronavirus are registered in Chittoor district till date. There are 10,894 active cases in Andhra Pradesh and the state is conducting a huge number of tests when compared to the neighboring states.
