Bengaluru Malls To Follow A New Set Of Guidelines From June 8th:- The Centre already granted permission for the opening of shopping malls from June 8th across the country. Karnataka government gave green signals for malls except in containment zones. The operators of shopping malls will face many challenges as the impact of coronavirus is huge in the country. They will have several Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all the guidelines are followed. The major challenge is the physical distancing. The shopping experience for the people too would be quite different.
Some of the shopping malls in Bengaluru made the 'Aarogya Setu app' mandatory for entry into the malls and they will allow the customers who have a green status on the app. The Shopping Centre Association of India already submitted the guidelines for the Karnataka Government. The thermal screening will be done for everyone and frequent sanitization will be made for all the people available in the malls. The periodicity of cleaning will be increased. Some of the shopping malls also purchased automated machinery. Some of the malls are also planning disinfection tunnels for all the customers. Wearing of masks is made mandatory.
