Telangana Gives Green Signal For Domestic Flights:- Despite of the Centre allowing the states to operate the domestic flights from today, some of the states are not ready and were reluctant. The Telangana government hasn't announced their move on this. Finally, the Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajendar made it clear that the domestic flights would operate from today. He made it clear that all the passengers arriving at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad would be screened and they would be sent to quarantine centres if required. Some of the passengers would be asked to take home quarantine.
He said "All those who do not show any symptoms will have to take precautions and will have to stay at home. They should call the helpline numbers 104 and 108 if they develop any symptoms after their journey. Seven days of institutional quarantine and seven days of home quarantine would be needed for these people". Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad will be allowing 15 arrivals and 15 departures per day and the services would be increased slowly if the situations are convenient. Some of the states like West Bengal opposed the Centre's move to run domestic flights in the country.
