Coronavirus Cases In India Cross 1 Lakh:- The trend has been upcoming about the number of coronavirus in India on a regular basis. The total number of cases now crossed 1 lakh mark on Monday. It has been 55 days since the lockdown was imposed. Despite of the strict measures imposed, the positive cases kept increasing in the country. There were 1000 cases by March 28th and they reached 50,000 by May 6th. The number reached 75,000 mark by May 13th and it crossed 1 lakh mark by Monday. Over 10,000 cases have been registered from the past three days. Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu are the states with the highest number of cases in the country.

The cases are multiplied by 10 in the last 35 days in the country. The curve of infection seems to have turned steeper after April 18th. India took a long time to reach the one lakh mark in the country. India has done better than several countries due to lockdown. The mortality rate is 3.1 percent in the country while it is 15.65% in France and 14.21% in UK. In Italy it is 14.15%. The lockdown in India has been extended till May 31st in the country and few relaxations are offered for several fields. USA is the most impacted country with over 15 lakh cases and the death-toll crossed 90,000 in the country.
