Indian Railways Cancels All The Regular Trains Till June 30th:- The Indian Railways today announced the cancellation of all the tickets for the regular trains including the express, nail and suburban services till June 30th. All these services will remain cancelled till June 30th. Indian Railways has been taking reservations for the month of June and thousands of tickets are booked online for the month. All the special trains and those run to carry the stranged migrant workers will continue to serve said the Indian Railways in a statement. The railways refunded Rs 1490 crores after 94 lakh tickets got cancelled because of the coronavirus lockdown.

The Indian Railways suspended all the railway operations starting from March 22nd. The Indian Railways also stopped taking bookings for regular trains. Though it announced that there are plans to restart the passenger trains slowly, in a surprising announcement Indian Railways made it clear that no services would run before June 30th. Only the special services of 30 trains would operate in the country with strict guidelines. All these services leaving from Delhi will connect Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Tripura.

Around 7.9 migrant labourers have been sent to their hometowns through 642 special shramik trains till yesterday. The Indian Railways operated 12,000 trains on a regular basis across the country.
