Repatriation Flight From US Lands In Hyderabad With 118 Indians:- The Indian government decided to evacuate all the Indians from abroad after May 7th and several flights arrived in the country in the past couple of days. An Air India flight carrying 118 Indian passengers from San Francisco landed in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad today. Vande Bharat evacuation flight AI 1617 from US (San Francisco) reached Mumbai and then to Hyderabad today. The passengers who landed in Hyderabad are natives of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Centre initiated Vande Bharat Mission to bring all the stranded Indians back home from abroad.

The entire stretch from the aerobridge to the arrivals has been fully sanitized and fumigated. All the physical distancing norms are followed among the passengers and the crew members from the aerobridge to the terminal. Each and every passenger along with the crew members were screened completely by the thermal cameras that are placed at the aerobridge exit. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued special directives. The passengers will be sent to their hometowns and will be in 14-day strict home quarantine as per the rules from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The first flight to Hyderabad came from Kuwait on Saturday with 163 passengers. A total number of seven evacuation flights are expected to reach Hyderabad. 2350 stranded Indians will land in Hyderabad from six countries through these flights.
