Coronavirus Patients Waiting On The Footpath To Get Hospital Admission In UP:- A bunch of 69 coronavirus infected patients are spotted waiting on the footpaths of a government medical college and hospital to get admission. The incident took place in Etawah district in Uttar Pradesh. They had to wait outside the locked gates for at least an hour yesterday morning after the doctors and the health officials rushed them to a dedicated coronavirus ward in the hospital. The video is now going viral across the internet. The patients had to wait outside the flu outpatient department where the gate are locked for the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai. A bus with 69 coronavirus patients reached the premises early yesterday morning.

The patients are transferred from Agra to Saifai which is 116 km away and they are sent in a UP transport bus. An escort team was sent along with the bus as per the instructions of the local authorities. The patients are spotted sitting on the footpaths outside the gates. Most of the patients covered their faces with masks. The Vice-Chancellor of the university said that there as a communication gap and he asked not to blame the doctors at the hospital. VC Raj Kumar said that there were not informed about their arrival that day and it took an hour to settle things. The total coronavirus cases in India reached 24,506 and 775 people passed away in the country till date.
