Telangana Doctor Booked For Hiding His Travel History

Telangana Doctor Booked For Hiding His Travel History:- A doctor based in Hyderabad has been booked for not disclosing the information that he attended the preparatory meeting of Tablighi Jamaat event that took place last month in Delhi. An ophthalmologist who is working in the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Adilabad, Telangana has been booked. Though he was tested negative, he is kept under hospital quarantine. He happens to be a Jamaat functionary and is an organizing committee member. He visited Delhi on March 8th and returned to Adilabad on March 10th.

He took a small break and started attending the patients from March 12th to April 1st. When the cops are tracing the names, they got the doctor's name. A complaint was filed by RIMS Hospital and the doctor was booked under different sections. A man was working in the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) of Jangaon attended the Tablighi Jamaat event and returned back. He was booked soon. The number of coronavirus positive cases saw a huge rise in the number of cases after the Tablighi Jamaat event took place.
