Mumbai's Wockhardt Hospital Closed After 26 Nurses Tested Positive With Coronavirus:- Workhardt hospital based in Mumbai got sealed today after 26 nurses from the hospital are tested positive with coronavirus. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared Wockhardt Hospital as containment zone yesterday and the entire premises got sealed today. Additional Municipal Commissioner of Health for BMC, Suesh Kakani sealed the Wockhardt Hospital and the staff members are asked to stay in the hospital till further intimation. Coronavirus tests are conducted for all the staff members in Wockhardt Hospital. It is heard that Wockhardt Hospital authorities have not taken any precautionary measures.

300 staff members are now left in quarantine after 26 nurses have been tested positive with coronavirus. A team is now set up to conduct a probe on how the virus was spread across the nurses in the hospital. The nurses claimed that the hospital authorities are quite negligent and they did not take any precautions. Two suspected cases are brought to Wockhardt Hospital on March 20th from Kasturba Gandhi Hospital. The suspected cases were kept in general wards because of which coronavirus was spread across the nurses of the hospital. On March 28th, two nurses from the hospital are tested positive and soon it infected ten nurses. Now a total of 26 nurses are infected with the coronavirus.
