KCR's Promise For Telangana Farmers In Coronavirus Time:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) always took special care for farmers and allocated huge budget for them. KCR announced that the state government will buy the paddy from the farmers of the state this year and asked them not to panic. He said that the government will open village-level market yards across the villages, towns of Telangana. He said that they are in plans to purchase 38 lakhs of tonnes of paddy and the process is expected to start from April 1st expressed KCR.
KCR said that the government would bear Rs 35,000 crores for the same. "Farmers will have to be present at the market yards in their nearest towns and purchasing centers will be open in villages. Telangana government is in touch with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to acquire a loan to support the farmers" said KCR. The process will take one month for completion and KCR said that the government schools, colleges and junior colleges will be used as godowns said KCR. Congress leaders urged the Telangana government to procure maize, chili and other crops from farmers.
