Delhi Violence: Death Toll Mounts To 27:- The situations in New Delhi reached new heights after the violence that is triggered between the CAA supporters and the opposers. The death toll in various incidents in New Delhi reached 27. The Delhi High Court expressed their anguish over the failure of the Delhi cops and it directed the Police Commissioner to take a call on this by today. It all started after the alleged hate speech by BJP leader Kapil Mishra. Special Commissioner will sit with the Commissioner of Delhi, will watch the clips and make a conscious decision. The court wanted them to take a call and convey it by 2.15 PM today.
S Muralidhar and Talwant Singh, justices heading the bench asked the cops to register 11 FIRs in the incident. Over 200 people got injured in the incident. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval visited the violence-hit regions two times on Wednesday and confirmed that the situations are currently under control. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged the people to be peaceful and stop the violence. Home Minister Amit Shah is personally monitoring the situation in New Delhi.
