Bus Accident in Rajasthan's Bundi Kills 25:- In a tragic road mishap, 25 people got killed after a private bus fell into the Maiz river in Rajasthan. The victims included 11 men, 10 women, and 3 children. The incident took place on Kota-Dausa highway in Rajasthan's Bundi district. All the passengers in the bus are on their way to a wedding party and there were 28 people in the bus when the incident took place. All the injured were rushed to a government hospital in Lekhari. Some of them who are critically injured are rushed to Kota hospital.
The bus was on its way from Baran to Sawai Madhopur. The bus driver lost his balance and the bus fell into the river from the overbridge. The bridge did not have any railing and walls because of which the bus rushed into the river. The locals carried the rescue operations and save several people. "I am deeply saddened to learn about the tragic accident in #Bundi in which 24 people have lost lives after the bus fell into river Mej.. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in this tragedy. I wish a speedy recovery to all injured" tweeted Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
