YS Jagan Inaugurates Disha Police Station in Rajahmundry:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy today inaugurated the first Disha Police Station in Rajahmundry during his East Godavari district tour. Andhra Pradesh DGP Gautam Sawang was also present for the event along with the government officials of the region. The police station will take up the cases and will protect women. The AP Government is in plans to set up 18 Disha police stations in the state across the 13 districts. Five of them will be set in urban regions. YS Jagan is keen on women's safety and he asked the cops to take stringent action against those culprits who are harassing women.

AP Government also sanctioned 25 crores to set up fast track courts in every district. Also, 87 crores are released for implementing Disha Act in the state. The accused will get punished in just 21 days after the crime said the government. Director-General of Police (DGP) Gautam Sawang inspected facilities at the first Disha police station. YS Jagan will address the public at Adikavi Nannayya University in Rajahmundry today.
