KCR Flags Off JBS-MGBS Metro Stretch

KCR Flags Off JBS-MGBS Metro Stretch:- Hyderabad Metro is fastly expanding and the new stretch between Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) has been flagged off today at 4 PM by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. KCR inaugurated the stretch from JBS Parade Grounds Metro Station. The 11 km stretch is added between Greenline Corridor 2 and with this addition, the stretch is extended to 69.2 kms. The first phase of Hyderabad Metro is now completed and is operational.

The new stretch would be open for the public from tomorrow. JBS-MGBS metro stretch has nine stations: Parade Grounds, Secunderabad West, New Gandhi Hospital, Musheerabad, RTC Crossroads, Chikkapally, Narayanaguda, Sultan Bazar and MGBS Metro station. Telangana minister KTR, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited Director NVS Reddy and Telangana DGP Mahendar Reddy were present at the event. MGBS Interchange station is named as one of the biggest metro stations in Asia.
