Amaravati Protest: TDP Leaders House Arrested:- The situations in Amaravati are quite tensed after the new government of Andhra Pradesh announced a proposal of having three capitals. The farmers from 29 villages of Amaravati have been protesting from the past 20 days against the idea. Several TDP leaders of Krishna and Guntur region are house arrested today. The farmers planned to protest on the national highways in and around the capital region after which the cops took the step and house arrested several TDP leaders.

Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad, Nakka Anand Babu, Bode Prasad, Kesineni Nani and Galla Jayadev have been restricted to their residences. Special check-posts are arranged near several sensitive regions of the capital. Several other leaders near the capital too have been house arrested. TDP leaders criticized the government for their move calling it a black day in democracy.
