Restrictions for New Year: No Singles Allowed Says Hyderabad Cops:- With New Year inching, the Hyderabad cops stepped out with an announcement restricting the entry of stags in the city on the night of December 31st. The Hyderbaad cops also asked the DJs to be barred at the events stating the conditions. Special guidelines have been issued to the event organizers who are planning some big events on the New Year's eve. Single male and female partygoers will be completely restricted said the cops.

The loudspeaker sounds should not exceed 45 decibles said the statement from the cops. All those who are found drunk driving will face a penalty of Rs 10,000 or six months of imprisonment. Their driving licenses would be suspended for three months or above. The permissible alcohol level in the blood is to be 30mg per 100 ml of blood. All those who are having above this will be considered as drunk drivers.

The vehicles will be seized and the drivers will have to visit the police station and will be produced before the Magistrate the next day after a chargesheet will be filed. The Hyderabad cops will be conducting random checks across the city on the night of December 31st. All the star hotels and farmhouses are informed about the same already. The police have also directed event organizers not to allow obscenity and drug use in their premises. All the flyovers in the city will remain closed from 11 PM to 5 AM in Hyderabad. The Nehru Outer Ring Road will be shut for the public during these hours.
