Woman Tahasildhar Set on Fire and Killed:- In a shocking incident, a woman Tahasildhar in Telangana was set on fire and she got killed. The incident took place in Abdullapurmet in the district of Rangareddy. She was identified as Vijaya Reddy and she was working as a Tahasildhar in MRO Office. Vijaya Reddy was involved in a land dispute in the region. There are speculations that she joined hands with one of the groups involved in the land dispute. Vijaya Reddy delayed the land registration as per the primary investigation.

Suresh, a farmer visited the MRO office during the lunch hour and had a heated argument with Vijaya Reddy. He soon poured petrol on her and set her on fire. Vijaya Reddy tried hard to set the fire off and driver, attender came to save her but Vijaya Reddy died on spot. Suresh too set himself on fire but he was rushed to a hospital and suffered major injuries. The incident created a sensation across the state. The cops rushed to the spot and the investigation on the incident is currently on. Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy ordered a probe in this shocking incident.
