Kashmir Opens For Tourists Again After The Travel Ban:- After the Centre scrapped Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir was under surveillance and the tourists have been banned entering into the border state. Jammu and Kashmir is now open for tourists from today after two months. However, Jammu and Kashmir administration issued security alerts for all the tourists who are in the state. Amarnath yatra was cancelled on August 2nd and the tourists have been forced to leave the valley. Governor Satya Pal Malik reviewed the security in the state and advised the administration to allow tourists.

The internet and mobile services are banned and section 144 was imposed in Jammu and Kashmir. The state continued to stay out of reach though the tourists are allowed to visit Jammu and Kashmir. The National Conference in this while questioned the Centre about the half-hearted move. Over 1000 leaders are detained after the Centre took the call on Jammu and Kashmir. The government recently announced that a block development council elections would be held on October 24th while Congress said it would boycott the elections.

On the whole, Jammu and Kashmir is open for tourists after two months.
