Ganesh Immersion Starts in Hyderabad:- Telangana Government made all the necessary plans for a smooth Ganesh idol immersion in Hyderabad along with the neighboring districts of the state. September 12th will have a holiday for schools, colleges and traffic curbs have been imposed in the city due to Ganesh immersion. They will come into effect from this morning till the midnight of September 12th. Ganesh idol immersion already started today. The famous Khairathabad Vinayaka idol journey started this morning.

Huge cranes are in action and they brought the idol on to a massive trolly. All the idols in NTR Marg are diverted towards Tank Bund. Hussain Sagar is waiting with huge cranes to dip the idols into the river. As per the early estimates, around 40,000 idols will be immersed today in Hyderabad city alone. Around 50 places have been locked for Ganesh immersion in Hyderabad and all the necessary arrangements are made. 35,000 cops have been deployed to prevent any unexpected situations. Holiday is declared in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Secunderabad districts today.

The traffic towards Panjagutta and Khairathbad will be diverted via Rainigunj, Nalagutta, Sanjeevaiah Prak, Necklace Road and Khairathabad flyover. All the ways towards NTR Marg are strictly avoidable and traffic is being diverted to other regions.
