Jet Airways Founder Asked to Pay Rs 18000 Cr to Travel Abroad:- The Delhi High Court asked Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal to make a deposit of Rs 18,000 crores as a guarantee to travel abroad. The order came from the Delhi Court after Naresh Goyal said that he has the right to travel abroad as he is an NRI. Naresh Goyal and his wife have been asked to deboard a flight in May that was heading to Dubai. Naresh Goyal appealed in High Court to annul the Lookout Circular (LoC) that was issued against him.

His counsel tried to explain that there was no case made on Naresh Goyal but the court was not convinced with the pleas and asked Naresh Goyal to pay Rs 18,000 crores as a deposit if he wishes to travel abroad. Naresh Goyal is in plans to approach the Supreme Court and get relief. The Supreme Court has been quite rigid on economic offenders with the rise in them. Naresh Goyal who founded Jet Airways is currently under huge financial crisis. The operations of Jet Airways are suspended in April.
