Supreme Court has One More Shock for Karti Chidambaram:- Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram received one more shock from Supreme Court today after the apex court dismissed the plea filed by Karti Chidambaram regarding the return of Rs 10 crores that he deposited as security during his abroad travel. Karti Chidambaram requested the top court to return the amount as he borrowed it for interest. A vacation bench comprising Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Aniruddha Bose rejected his petition.

The court shocked Karti asking him to focus on his constituency who on in the recent Lok Sabha polls with a huge margin of 3 lakh votes from Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu. Karti Chidambaram has been facing allegations in granting foreign Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approval when his father P Chidambaram was the Finance Minister in 2006. Karti Chidambaram traveled to USA, UK, France, Spain and Germany in May this year. He was granted to travel abroad in January this year after he deposited Rs 10 crores tp the Secretary-General of the Supreme Court.
