160 Youth Along With Drugs Detained in a Rave Party in Tamil Nadu:- The Tiruvallur cops on the late hours of Monday busted a rave party in a lavish resort in Mahabalipuram and they detained over 160 youngsters including seven women. This came just days after 165 youngsters were caught in a rave party in a resort in Pollachi. The cops received perfect information after which over 100 police personnel carried out the raids. The resort was located around 50 kms from Chennai.
The raids were carried on from 12.30 AM and the cops surrounded the resort completely. The operation was carried out for three hours and 160 youngsters were arrested. All the youth are between 18 and 28 years and the rave party invitation was circulated across Facebook and WhatsApp. Rs 1000 was collected as entry fee and 12 organizers have been arrested in this case. FIR has been registered under provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. The resort premises are sealed by the Tamil Nadu cops.
