Over 100 Vehicles Catch Fire In Bengaluru Aero Show:- As many as 100 vehicles were burnt into ashes after a big fire broke down at the parking lot of Bengaluru Aero show this afternoon. A lit cigarette that was disposed on the grass in the parking lot may be the reason for the fire accident. Soon the region was surrounded by thick black smoke which was seen in the sky near Yelahanka air base which is located in north Bengaluru. Dry grass and strong winds made things even worse and several cars were left in ashes within minutes.

No casualties have been reported and the fire was brought into control. Last week two jets from the Indian Air Force's Suryakiran Aerobatic Team crashed in mid-air and one of the three pilots were dead. No planes have taken off from the airbase in the last one hour due to the heavy smoke in the region. The five-day air show started on Wednesday and will end tomorrow. Ten fire engines were rushed to the spot and brought things under control. Seven ambulances have been stationed in the air base. The incident took place in the parking lot which is located few kilometres away from the air show.
