Historic Day for Kadapa: Foundation of Steel Plant Today: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu is all set for a historic day as he will be laying the foundation stone for Kadapa Steel Plant at Maremma Kambaladinne village in Mylavaram mandal. All the necessary arrangements are made informed Minister C Adinarayana Reddy. He said all the required infrastructure, including railway line, water, electricity and raw material such as iron ore, were made available.

Despite of several attempts, the Centre failed to keep their promise and TDP MP CM Ramesh went on to fast for the Steel Plant. It is then AP Chief Chandra Babu announced that the state government will alone establish the steel plant in Kadapa if the Centre stays without responding for two months. Exactly after two months, the foundation stone is being laid today. The estimated budget is said to be Rs 18,000 crores and 3500 acres of land has been allotted.
